Our Client seeks a Director of Cloud Security in Orange County, CA.

This is an onsite position (hybrid is possible) for US Citizens and Green Card holders.  If you need visa sponsorship now or in the future, you are not eligible for the position.

The Client is open to people who will permanently relocate to the area.

This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established, rapidly expanding firm. This position reports directly to the CISO and has an excellent path for promotion to a Director level position.

The ideal person will have:

At least 3 years of working in a Cloud Security leadership role and a minimum of 3 years previous to that as a hands on Cloud Security Engineer. You will have experience in managing both onsite and remote teams.

This person will have a small team reporting to them, overseeing Cloud Security Engineering and Cloud Governance.  With the current team size, you must be willing and able to up your sleeves and help the team when needed. The environment and team is rapidly growing much like a start-up but with successful products already in the market.

This role is ideal for a highly technical individual with solid hands-on experience with cloud security, specifically AWS and its products.  Any experience with Azure would be highly desirable, although not essential.

This person will also have a strong knowledge of cloud governance and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Salary dependent on experience: $180K to $250K.
