Our Client is seeking a junior to mid-level IT Engineer to support infrastructure initiatives across network management, systems administration, and technical support. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to high-impact IT projects and ongoing operations within a dynamic and growing organization. The position is based onsite in Orange County, CA, with some hybrid flexibility.

The ideal person will have:

Assisted in designing, configuring, and maintaining network systems, including VLAN, LAN, WAN, and remote access technologies.

Managed servers, workstations, and software applications to ensure performance and security.

Provided Tier 2 support to resolve employee hardware and software issues.

Supported IT projects including system migrations, software upgrades, and new technology implementations.

Maintained detailed documentation for systems, processes, and procedures to support operational continuity and compliance.

Coordinated with third-party vendors for the procurement of hardware, software, and IT services.

Monitored system performance and implemented optimizations to ensure stability and efficiency.

Contributed to product and technology evaluations, including proof of concept (POC) implementations.

Participated in an on-call support rotation, providing assistance during evenings and weekends.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in IT engineering, network administration, or a similar technical role.

Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.

Working knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and experience with routers, switches, and firewalls.

Exposure to virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.

Familiarity with cloud environments, especially AWS and Microsoft Azure/M365..

Salary dependent on experience: $68K to $113K.
