Our Client is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their R&D Center in Orange County, CA. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the security, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of a cutting-edge multi-cloud platform supporting networking and IoT smart home solutions.

This is an onsite position for US Citizens and Green Card holders. If you require visa sponsorship now or in the future, you are not eligible for this role.

The ideal person will have:

Acted as the technical SME for deploying and managing microservices on Kubernetes-based cloud platforms.

Partnered with Cloud Development and DevOps teams to deploy services to AWS, OCI, Azure, and GCP.

Executed Load and Chaos testing to ensure high scalability and reliability.

Built observability into cloud platforms and microservices to support robust monitoring and alerting.

Written and executed Disaster Recovery plans in collaboration with development teams.

Resolved production issues tied to resource limitations (e.g., node groups, CPU, memory, HPA, JVM pre-warming).

Developed automation scripts using languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.

Participated in an on-call rotation with availability for after-hours and weekend support.

You will have at least 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.

Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Hands-on experience with SRE, DevOps, cloud operations, and cloud security.

Strong understanding of security technologies, including IAM, network and application security, and data protection.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective both independently and in a team.

Experience writing technical documentation and supporting compliance implementation.

Preferred:

Expert-level cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).

Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration technologies.

Salary dependent on experience: $150K to $180K.
